Use and maintenance of bucket elevator/chain bucket elevator
The machine should be guarded by a fixed person during the work. The caretaker must have general technical knowledge and familiarity with the performance of the bucket elevator.
The use of this machine (characteristics, working conditions, conveying capacity, etc. of the material to be conveyed) shall strictly comply with all the provisions of this manual.
The use unit shall formulate the “Safety Operation Procedures for Equipment Maintenance and Inspection” for the machine to be observed by the custodian. The caretaker must have a handover system and carefully check the work of the hoisting departments.
The bucket elevator should have a fixed feeding device to feed evenly into the machine. The feeding capacity of the feeding device shall be within the range of conveying quantity listed in the “Main Technical Specifications of the Hoist” in this manual. The lower section shall not be blocked by the conveying material.
All doors must be completely closed during work. Appropriate lighting should be installed at the upper and lower sections and the frequently opened inspection doors. If a fault occurs during work, it must be stopped immediately to eliminate the fault. If there are defects that should not be eliminated immediately, but there is no excessive impact on the work, it should be recorded and eliminated when it is to be repaired.
The caretaker should always check the work of each part, but it is absolutely forbidden to clean and repair the moving part of the machine during operation.
The helical tensioning device of the lower section should be adjusted to maintain the tape with normal working tension. The caretaker should always observe the working condition of the bucket elevator hopper belt, and the damaged hopper should be removed.
The caretaker watched the bucket elevator mainly to observe sporadic work such as working status, cleaning, lubrication and inspection adjustment.
The bucket elevator must be started under no load and stopped after the discharge is completed.
In addition to maintaining normal lubrication during the use process (lubrication parts, methods, cycles and materials are listed in Table 1) and replacing damaged parts, the defects must be eliminated during the inspection and the damaged parts and parts must be removed. Replace the lubricant. The use unit can make an overhaul cycle based on the working conditions of the hoist.
